THE INVERSE

-Carians-

You have accessed the Akashic Records of the Carians. The legend goes...

The Carians are frequently mistaken for the Blue Avians due to their similar bird-like appearance, but they are actually Golden Avians, not blue. The Carians originated from a different universe, one where space is not a black void filled with white stars, but rather a white void filled with black stars, what is known as “The Inverse.”

In our universe, we see dark matter with light stars, and the Carian’s is light matter with black stars. To us, these black stars appear as black holesthat interconnected with our universe. To the Carians, they see a white tunnel of light, while we see a black one. Our universes coexist with each other, connected through black holes, or in their case, our white holes.

The Carians are the original creators of the Draconians, designing them to be a highly wise and powerful race. However, they underestimated the intelligence of the Draco DNA. Over time, the Draconians’ intellect grew exponentially, and a reptilian faction of them known as “The Ciakar” was mutated to become the Carians’ main protectors and defenders. Unfortunately, the Draconians became too intelligent for their own good, eventually showing signs of rebellion against their Carian creators. It’s similar to the concept of Jurassic World, where the Carians are the humans and the Draconians are the dinosaurs, but on a galactic scale.

As the Carians scrambled to make genetic corrections to their Ciakar warrior cast, other Draco’s became influenced by the Ciakar’s behavior, and abandoned the home planets of the Carian star system, to start their own colonies. The majority of the Carians decided to allow the Draconians to explore on their own, as the Draconians were heavily programed to be independent, but also very wise. As long as they could organize their own societies peacefully, the two groups could co-exist.

Unfortunately for the Ciakar, the Carians considered them too dangerous and violent to be set free. Though the Carians didn’t believe in exterminating the Ciakar through direct violence, they chose instead to let them “expire.” The Ciakar were confined to bases, closely monitored and treated as prisoners. The Carians’ plan was to allow the Ciakar species to go extinct by preventing them from breeding, while starting the “warrior caste project” anew. During this phase, the Carians made an effort to provide for the Ciakar’s comfort and well-being, trying to make them feel cared for. However, the Ciakar were too intelligent and quickly realized that their only chance of survival was to escape.

Eventually, the Ciakar outwitted the Carians, managed to escape the bases, and launched an attack on their captors in the process. With only a few Ciakar survivors remaining, many fled to nearby planets where their Draconian brothers and sisters resided, seeking refuge. In response, the Carians initiated an extensive search to capture as many detainees as possible. However, word of the Carians’ treatment of the Ciakar spread among other Draconian factions, sparking significant political turmoil and tensions between the groups.

The Draconians eventually realized that while the Ciakar could be managed in small numbers, in large numbers they posed a serious threat to the entire universe. Some Draconians chose to return their Ciakar captives, while others kept them hidden to build their own armies. When the Carians managed to locate all the escaped Ciakar, they demanded their return. However, the Draconians strongly opposed this request, believing that the Carians had violated the principle of free will. They were prepared to fight for the Ciakar’s freedom, and thus, “War Echelon” began.

The Ciakar were still kept in relatively small numbers, slowly fading away, but the Draconians began a hybridization program to dilute the Ciakar’s uncontrollable aggression. This program aimed to preserve their warrior instincts while allowing them better control over their violent impulses, ultimately creating a powerful army.

The Carians came to realize that their greatest creation had also become their greatest mistake. Other soul groups began demanding that the Carians address the growing threat, concerned that the Draconian army would not only endanger the Carians but also other factions aligned with them. Faced with this ultimatum, the Carians had no choice but to decide whether to eliminate their rebellious creations entirely or banish them from their universe forever. Seeking help from their allies, the Carians ultimately won the long and costly war. However, burdened with guilt for subjecting their most precious creation to such suffering through no fault of its own, the Carians’ final act of compassion toward the surviving Ciakar was to exile them through a supermassive black hole, believing it led back to the Source. Unbeknownst to them, this black hole was actually a portal that transported the Draconians from their universe into ours.

Black hole the Ciakar and Draconians were exiled through by the Carians.

It wasn’t until much later that the Carians learned from a stranded Anatarian exploration ship, which had accidentally passed through a different portal, that the Draconians had not returned to the Source as believed. Instead, they were caught in the midst of an ongoing war against the Lyrans. Realizing the magnitude of their mistake, the Carians quickly made the decision to send a group through the supermassive portal to warn other soul groups of the urgent need to unite against the Draconians if they wanted their universe to survive.

As the Lyra Wars escalated, the Carian emissaries relied heavily on the Antarians to transport them to as many constellations as possible, spreading the word about the conflict. Fortunately, many neighboring constellations to Lyra had already begun offering support, but others, farther away, had yet to contribute to the fight. The Carians were able to rally more support with the aim of rounding up the Draconians and returning them to their universe. However, this task proved far more difficult than anticipated.

The Draconians had been on the brink of extinction due to starvation when they were exiled. For a long time, they had been hopping from star to star in the Draco constellation, barely surviving on limited resources, desperate for any form of nourishment. When they reached Lyra, they were too weak and too few in number to pose a threat to the Lyrans. The Lyrans, seeing their plight, offered refuge and assistance. Peace lasted for a short time until the Draconians encountered the Blue Avians of Lyra’s main star, Vega. The sight of a species so similar to their Carian creators sparked immediate conflict.

Once the Blue Avians understood the depth of the Draconians’ trauma, they convinced the Lyrans to ask the Draconians to leave the Lyra constellation and colonize elsewhere to ease the growing tensions. In response, the Avians, along with the Andromedans and Antarian portal experts, discovered another black hole portal leading to an uninhabited star system with multiple planets that had the ideal conditions for the Draconians to colonize. They proposed this as an option to the Draconians, but the Draconians no longer trusted any Avian, fearing they were being tricked into another exile.

Having fully recovered their ships and repopulated a portion of their numbers, the Draconians, particularly the Ciakar, were terrified of repeating their past mistakes. The Ciakar, unwilling to risk losing everything they had rebuilt, made the decision to take Lyra for themselves, believing they had suffered enough. And so, the Lyra Wars began. The closest visual representation of the Lyra wars is Avatar, where the humans resemble the Draconians, and the Navi resemble the Lyrans.

Ciakar’s methods, turned against their own kind to aid the Lyrans. They could not condone the genocide of an entire species, especially since the Carians had chosen exile over extermination when dealing with the Draconians. These Draconians, often referred to as the Dragons, felt a deep empathy for both the Ciakar’s desire for freedom from the Carians and the peaceful Lyrans’ right to be free from the Ciakar’s aggression.

However, this act of empathy came with great risk. Many of these Dragons were forced into hiding, knowing they were wanted by both the Carians and the Ciakar. They were hunted for sheltering Ciakar survivors, as well as for betraying their own kind during the wars. To escape detection, some Andromedans, Antarians, and other groups volunteered to guide several Dragons to the Cygnus constellation, where they could mutate their appearances, often adopting Avian-like forms to mimic their enemies and avoid being recognized. The guides also joined the Draconians in altering their appearances, as they feared being hunted for supporting the empathetic Dragon faction. Many others believed the Dragons should be wiped out entirely, putting the guides at great risk for their alliance.

The Carian emissaries soon realized that bringing all the Ciakar and Draconians back to their original universe was nearly impossible. The Draconian army had grown too vast, too powerful, and too intelligent to be easily subdued. Having established their own empire, and with Lyra destroyed and few planets left to colonize, they chose to settle in the Orion constellation, founding the Orion Empire.

With no viable way to expel the Draconians, the Carians understood their best option was to devise a long-term strategy, creating thousands of galactic federations and light councils to monitor and manage the expanding Orion Empire. However, this would be an immense undertaking, requiring millennia of cooperation between various star races to outnumber and counterbalance the growing strength of the Orion Empire.

Only a small group of Carian emissaries had made their way into our universe, so they worked closely with the Antarians to facilitate communication between the universes, sending messages back and forth to bring more emissaries as each new light council or federation was established. The Carians carry a profound sense of guilt for what transpired and often seek to befriend the Draconians, constantly looking for ways to make amends for the wrongs they committed against their once-created offspring. This dynamic is often mirrored in starseed relationships across the cosmos to this day.
