ORION

-The Ciakar-

You have accessed the Akashic Records of the Ciakar. The legend goes...

The Ciakar, now based in the Orion constellation, were a genetically engineered warrior caste created by the Carians, a highly advanced avian species from an alternate universe known as "The Inverse," where the fundamental properties of light and dark exist in reversed polarity compared to the known universe. Designed to be powerful, intelligent, and highly disciplined, the Ciakar initially served as protectors and enforcers within the Carian-led star systems. Their creation was part of a broader effort by the Carians to cultivate a wise and self-sufficient race, the Draconians, to whom the Ciakar belonged as a specialized faction.

Over time, the Ciakar’s intelligence and self-awareness developed beyond the expectations of their creators. This evolution introduced a level of autonomy that began to conflict with the hierarchical and controlled structure imposed by the Carians. As the Ciakar began to question their role, their loyalty weakened, leading to behaviors perceived as insubordination. The Carians, fearing the implications of this intellectual and strategic growth, moved to isolate the Ciakar from the broader Draconian population.

The Ciakar were confined to restricted environments under heavy surveillance. Breeding was halted, and their social structures were dismantled in an effort to phase them out over time without direct confrontation. Despite attempts by the Carians to provide material comfort, the Ciakar recognized the long-term intent behind their confinement. Using their advanced cognition and military training, a number of Ciakar eventually orchestrated an escape. In the process, they launched a limited but effective offensive against their captors, seeking only survival and refuge rather than conquest.

After escaping, the Ciakar sought protection among the larger Draconian population. This triggered widespread debate within Draconian society. Some factions saw the Ciakar as a liability due to their violent reputation, while others viewed them as victims of Carian manipulation and control. The Carians requested the return of the escaped Ciakar, a demand that many Draconians refused, citing violations of autonomy and moral obligations to defend the free will of their own kind. These events led to the outbreak of a conflict later referred to as the War Echelon.

During and after the war, the Ciakar remained in limited numbers, as many had been lost in the conflict or continued to be hunted. In an effort to reduce their volatility, some Draconian factions initiated a hybridization program. The goal of the program was to retain the Ciakar’s formidable physical and strategic capabilities while diminishing their aggressive behavioral traits. This genetic integration was considered a potential long-term solution to the internal threat they posed.

Despite their efforts to contain and reform the situation, the Carians were forced to accept that their most ambitious creation had also become their greatest miscalculation. As external soul groups expressed concern over the growing strength of the Draconian factions, the Carians were faced with a decision: eliminate the remaining Ciakar entirely or remove them from their universe. Choosing the latter, they exiled the remaining Ciakar through a supermassive black hole believed to lead back to the Source. Unknown to the Carians, the black hole functioned as a portal, transporting the Ciakar and other Draconian refugees into a neighboring universe, our universe. After a vast amount of time trying to navigate and survive in our universe, the weakened and dying refugees reached the constellation of Lyra. The natives known as the Lyrans, were a peaceful civilization with ties to the Blue Avians. Weakened by lack of resources and space travel, the Draconians, including the Ciakar, were granted aid by the Lyrans and Avians. However, the physical similarities between the Avians and the Carians, reignited deep psychological tensions and distrust within the Ciakar, since the Avians reminded them of their Carian captors.
