The Metaut are a hybrid future species from the 4th-5th dimension, composed of both time and a mysterious, unknown molecular structure. They experience a metamorphosis that evolves as they become wiser. As they do, they also become less physical and more holographic. As they become more holographic, they grow strands of hair made of physical time. Once the hair reaches their ankles, it symbolizes that they are ready to pursue any craft at a master level, without guidance. This could include mastering time codes, creating light from darkness, jumping back and forth through dimensions on Earth and Earth-like planets to deliver messages via Morse code, as well as other types of gifts.
This group hails from the constellation Tarandus. Tarandus was an obsolete constellation, also known as Rangifer, meaning "reindeer," which is no longer listed on our universal map. It was somewhat lost between Cassiopeia, “The Vain Queen,” and was replaced with the constellation Camelopardalis, “The Giraffe.”
This group has multiple subspecies within its species. The more physical beings have a variation of deer-like appearances with antlers, but no hands, as they can manipulate objects with their minds.
Another species takes the form of a friendly-looking alligator, a distant derivative of the alligator we recognize. They also have beings that resemble antelope more than deer, who tend to be more introverted. There are also beings with hammerhead-like heads, though they are not necessarily hammerhead sharks. All beings in this group grow the strands of time, or what we would recognize as hair, but their hair glows similarly to that of Rapunzel’s hair in the movie Tangled.
The Metaut are particularly gifted with time and coding. They don't particularly like incarnating on Earth but assisted during World War II as part of the first wave of volunteers. They only intervene when necessary, as they fear any technology they introduce will be weaponized, even though its purpose is to save lives, not harm them.
Their gift to Earth was Morse code and other important secret codes during the world wars, which resulted in a timeline where Earth was saved. Since the invention of AI, they have intervened less with decoding and focus more on timeline code alerts through angel numbers, as well as other scenarios similar to scenes in the film Interstellar, where Murph pays attention to spaces between books and patterns in repeated sounds.
The holographic beings do travel through time to Earth and Earth-like places. Their compass is actually a watch, as they do not need directions like north, south, east, and west to guide them, but instead an exact time and galactic coordinates to take them where they need to go.
They easily blend in with the environments they observe but often hide from being noticed due to their holographic transparency. They move extremely fast, so if you notice brief movements out of the corner of your eye, there is a high chance it's a Metaut time traveler. They do not often take the form of dark shadows, as they are very colorful and neon-based energies. Any brief movement would likely appear as faint neon pink, green, purple, or blue.
Their planet has major, visible glowing caves that can be seen from space. These caves glow in different neon colors such as pink, purple, blue, red, orange, and green. The inside of the planet is fairly hollow but still well-structured to hold together, unlike the Dhharruk’s planet, which collapsed due to engineering errors. The bioluminescent light functions similarly to the bioluminescent deep-sea creatures we see on Earth. However, their planet doesn’t host water or liquids. Instead, the molecular species of the Metaut survive off of gas-cloud-like plankton, which generates the bioluminescent glow in their planet's massive tunnels. In other words, the molecular species of the Metaut consume glowing gas-clouds.
Their group is so advanced they can break or create just about any code and even translate languages. They even created what is called "The hidden frequency," which is a secret frequency they use with neutrinos to carry codes to each other in times of need. The hidden frequency was used during the Orion Wars, and became the signature skill of the Metaut. Few are lucky to learn this form of decoding/communication as it is only bestowed to beings who have proven themselves loyal and trustworthy for a noble cause.
