Tau Cetians originate from the constellation Cetus, also known as “The Sea Monster.” Despite the ominous name, the most intelligent species from this planet are far from monstrous sea creatures. Instead, they are bear-like beings, resembling a blend of the Ewok and Wookiee species depicted in Star Wars. Deeply grounded and family-oriented, Tau Cetians prioritize kinship above all else. They inhabit rich, forested planets and are highly devoted to the well-being of their civilization, always ensuring their families remain at the center of their lives.
This peaceful society became hardened and fiercely protective due to a dark chapter in their history. Tau Cetian children were frequently targeted and abducted by Grey aliens, especially during the early phases of the Orion Wars. The Greys, in search of diverse and powerful DNA, were drawn to the Tau Cetians’ superhuman strength. These abductions forced the once-light-centered Tau Cetians to shift into a darker aspect of themselves, embracing fierceness and warfare in defense of their young.
Masculine figures, especially fathers, took the lead in this transformation. Many joined forces with the Belt Stars of Orion to search for their stolen children. These fathers often swore not to return home until their mission was complete, a vow that led many to die in battle, never seeing their families again.
The film Taken, starring Liam Neeson, serves as a cinematic parallel to Tau Cetian fatherly energy, a representation of the lengths a Tau Cetian parent would go to for their child. While most might turn to law enforcement, a Tau Cetian father acts immediately, ignoring protocol and external laws, because in Tau Cetian culture, family comes first. Another fitting example is Dom from Fast and the Furious, a character defined by primal loyalty and protection toward his family, whether by blood or bond.
Yet the fierce protection of children is not limited to the fathers. Tau Cetian mothers are equally, if not more, formidable. The term “mama bear” finds new depth among them. While fathers ventured into the stars in search of abducted children, the mothers remained as guardians, fiercely defending their homes and young ones from further alien incursions. They were not merely caretakers but warriors, fully capable of fighting off Greys who sought to harvest their babies for DNA experimentation and hybridization.
The fate of the abducted children is one of the most tragic elements of Tau Cetian history. Upon reaching maturity, many were forced into breeding programs with Draconian Ciakar hybrids. These programs were initiated when the Ciakar became aware of the Hydrans, beings as powerful as the Ciakar but resonating with a service-to-others frequency.
Hydrans are masters of disabling their enemies, luring Ciakar into environments where they are stripped of their senses, sight, sound, smell, and other senses, making them vulnerable. In response, the Ciakar sought to bolster their genetic strength by incorporating Tau Cetian DNA, aiming to create warriors even more formidable than before. Though Ciakar were already strong due to their reptilian DNA and intelligence, the physical power of the Tau Cetian bear-like race made them ideal candidates for this horrific genetic fusion.
Despite the horrors, many of the children were eventually rescued, whether by their fathers or by other beings allied against the Orion Empire. These survivors often chose to dedicate a portion of their lives in service to those who freed them, not out of obligation, but the Tau Cetian honor code.
This was not a case of servitude, but a life debt, honored willingly. Before returning to start their own families, many of these individuals revisited their home worlds to inform their kin of their survival and to explain their need to repay those who granted them freedom. Though their rescuers often told them such a debt was unnecessary, the Tau Cetian honor code demanded it. Some children reunited with their fathers, while others continued their search into adulthood, committed to both finding their dads while honoring their rescuers.
