MESSIER 104 - SOMBRERO GALAXY
-Avanta Gantis-
You have accessed the Akashic Records of the Avanta Gantis. The legend goes...
The Avanta Gantis starseeds hail from a collective originating from the Sombrero Galaxy. Their symbol is a teardrop-shaped stone with liquified silicon DNA in the center. The stone is naturally embedded in the third eye of each being. The stone serves as a memory tool, allowing each individual to access and retain information.
They are a peaceful yet highly formal collective. They consider professional appearance a sign of respect and an important part of establishing a connection with their species. The expectation is comparable to attending a job interview in professional attire. Arriving on their planet without making the proper preparations or adhering to their customs is considered deeply disrespectful and insulting to their entire species.
They wear exquisite technology that seamlessly combines aesthetic appeal with exceptional functionality. They believe in nothing going to waste, as every material and component serves a distinct purpose.
They are particularly renowned for mastering the art of grief, which they consider one of the purest forms of soul expansion. To them, grief is not something to suppress or overcome, but an experience to be fully embraced as a means of releasing, healing, and restoring oneself.
This practice originated during the Lyra Wars, when loss and suffering became an unavoidable part of their Lyran ancestors DNA. Over time, their understanding of grief evolved into a formal therapeutic practice, and was used during the Orion Wars.
Many beings from across constellations travel to the Avanta Gantis planet to process grief, confront their fears surrounding death and loss, and unlearn the emotional conditioning that prevents them from fully experiencing these transitions. Their civilization has established its own mystery schools, each devoted to exploring different forms of grief, its purpose, and its relationship to spiritual development.
The Avanta Gantis believe in using their greatest gifts and abilities in service of a greater purpose. However, they also understand that natural talent alone has little value without the love, passion, and genuine desire to use it for the benefit of their species. Each member's unique skills are documented and preserved should their collective ever come under threat or require their specialized abilities. Outside of such circumstances, members are encouraged to pursue roles and responsibilities that bring them joy, allowing them the freedom to explore their interests and contribute in whatever capacity they feel most aligned with at any given time.
Everyone contributes to the development of their civilization, whether by building one another's homes, inventing new technologies, or creating beautiful works of art to wear or incorporate into the planet's natural environments. They have the ability to upload and download skills, knowledge, and experience, allowing any individual to quickly understand how far their civilization has progressed in a particular field and immediately begin contributing to its continued development.
This exchange of information allows the Avanta Gantis to move seamlessly between disciplines. One day, a being might be developing spacecraft; the next, they could be engineering new DNA sequences to enhance vegetation. There are no rigid career paths or limitations on what an individual can pursue. All that is required is time at the appropriate facility to upload or download the necessary information before joining the team working on that particular project. In this way, knowledge is shared collectively, innovation is continuous, and the entire civilization advances through the combined contributions of its people.
