The Rhizalans are a sentient plant species originating from the constellation Monoceros. While many associate Monoceros with the mythical unicorn, few know it is also home to a lesser-known yet equally enchanting civilization. The Rhizalans began their existence much like other alien flora, rooted deeply in the soil of their home world. Over time, however, they evolved into a conscious species capable of complex communication and movement.

At the heart of Rhizalan biology is a rare, luminous pollen known as Rhizari. This substance carries properties often described as magical, bearing effects similar to those of ayahuasca and poppy derivatives. Across the galaxy, Rhizari became renowned for its powerful uses. Pleiadians employed it to guide souls in extreme physical distress into astral journeys beyond their bodies. The Venusians incorporated it into their legendary love potions and fragrances, using its enchanting qualities to sway the hearts, and wills, of their desired companions. Meanwhile, the Sirians turned to Rhizari as a calming agent, much like cannabis, to soothe the trauma of Lyran refugees displaced by the devastating Lyra Wars.
