The Hydrans originate from the constellation Hdra, often referred to as "The Sea Serpent." They embody a divine feminine energy, creating light within darkness, representing the challenges faced when all other senses are unavailable. Hailing from deep-water planets, they thrive in both the darkest depths of the oceans and extreme cold environments. While most of their planets have little landmass, a few rare Hydran species can briefly emerge onto the surface to survive on land, though they must always return to water or have water nearby to stay alive. These beings are utterly unique and stunning, possessing an appearance far beyond typical alien forms. They are capable of generating their own light, akin to bioluminescent creatures found in Earth's deep oceans. Over time, they have evolved into a humanoid mermaid-like form, while still retaining characteristics of various sea creatures, such as octopuses, jellyfish, squids, eels, and more. It's not uncommon for a Hydran to have tentacles or even spider-like appendages, depending on their species.
The Hydrans are not evil, but they are immensely powerful and disciplined. They symbolize focus, excelling in the creation of light in darkness. They also have influence over disabilities, often forcing individuals to survive without sight, smell, hearing, or taste. Through this challenge, they push even the most advanced galactic warriors to develop and sharpen their abilities in the face of darkness.
