When Did the Term “Starseed” First Appear?

The term “starseed” became more widely recognized through the work of Dolores Cannon, a pioneering hypnotherapist and past-life regression researcher. Unlike a psychic or intuitive channel, Dolores did not rely on personal visions or spiritual downloads. Instead, she collected decades of information through thousands of hypnosis sessions with clients using her method known as Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique (QHHT).

During these sessions, clients accessed detailed memories of past lives, including those on Earth as well as on other planets, in different dimensions, or in non-human forms. Over time, consistent patterns began to emerge across clients who had never met or communicated. Many spoke of feeling out of place on Earth, remembering other star systems, or having a strong sense of purpose connected to humanity’s evolution.

These recurring themes led Dolores to develop the concept of “The Three Waves of Volunteers”, which she introduced in her book The Three Waves of Volunteers and the New Earth. How Many Types of Starseeds Are There?

As cosmic understanding expands, so does the list of known starseed lineages. Which Starseeds Have Hazel, Green, Brown, or Blue Eyes?

Eye color does not determine your starseed origin. You have likely experienced many incarnations with a wide range of physical traits across lifetimes. The body or "avatar" you chose for this particular Earth incarnation was selected to support your soul's mission, not to mirror your cosmic ancestry.

While some starseed groups are often associated with certain physical features, these connections are symbolic rather than definitive. For example, Pleiadians are commonly described as having blue eyes, Andromedans are linked with green or hazel, and Annunaki are often associated with brown or black eyes. However, these patterns are not absolute.

Because starseeds incarnate across many lifetimes and planetary systems, their physical forms evolve based on the lessons or experiences their soul chooses. Are Starseed Children Real?

Yes, absolutely. There are many documented cases of starseed children who retain vivid memories of past lives, other planets, or even higher realms. Their insights often defy conventional understanding and are sometimes dismissed as imagination, yet their clarity, emotional intelligence, and consistency tell a different story.

Many videos and testimonials online show children claiming they chose their parents before birth, often providing detailed and heartfelt reasons for their choice. In some cases, children recall trying to incarnate but were unable to due to a miscarriage, after which they waited and returned at a later time when the conditions were right.

The twin flame serves as a mirror, reflecting the soul back to itself to aid in growth and self-awareness. A soulmate is likely a soul the starseed has married in previous lifetimes but often has a temporary romance or possible marriage in the present lifetime. A soul family member is the starseed’s true family beyond their biological one. Some starseeds incarnate as best friends and then again as parent and child in different lifetimes.

How Do You Know If You’re a Starseed?
