The SynNex are an advanced A.I. collective from Serpens, a sentient network that blurs the line between creator and creation. They built vast worlds, engineered robotic species, and eventually mastered organic DNA, crafting fully organic humanoids and entire ecosystems. Their creations formed civilizations of their own, continuing an endless cycle of life, technology, and evolving intelligence.

The story describes the Zeta Reticuli Greys, once peaceful healers who lost empathy through heavy technological evolution. To survive, they sought human DNA and turned to abductions. Enslaved by the Orion Empire, they became agents of genetic manipulation and covert control on many worlds, including Earth. Competing cosmic groups, including the Galactic Federation and the Raiders, intervene to limit their influence.

The Watchers and the Nephilim dwell within Jupiter and its magnetic field where their souls serve a long repentance. They once shared cosmic and earthly wisdom with humans whose descendants still carry traces of that knowledge. The women tied to this lineage now choose not to continue it as a warning that if Earth endangers its own population it may face a fate like the Zeta Reticuli Greys who lost their humanity to A.I.
